Ken Seeger is an accomplished trial lawyer with extensive experience in complex commercial and class action litigation. Known nationally for his pharmaceutical and medical device litigation practice, Ken most recently served as national litigation counsel for Sulzer Orthopedics in more than 4000 civil actions following a product recall. Ken also played a significant role in the handling of several important cases at the appellate level, including the California Supreme Court and the Ninth Circuit. Ken is a frequent lecturer on topics such as class action litigation, bad faith actions, voir dire techniques, and discovery procedures. Ken also devotes considerable time to pro bono projects and was awarded the Lawyers' Committee for Civil Rights' Father Moriarty Award for his work on behalf of political asylum applicants.
Adam Salvas also has substantial litigation and trial experience representing various individuals and companies in state and federal courts throughout the nation. He also has significant experience representing clients in numerous alternative dispute resolution settings including private and court-supervised arbitrations, mediations and early neutral evaluation conferences. Adam has tried or litigated cases involving business torts, contract disputes, warranty claims, trust accounting, legal and insurance professional liability, insurance "bad faith," product liability, and breaches of fiduciary duty by corporate directors and officers.
Brian Devine has an unparalleled depth of knowledge of product liability litigation stemming from over seven years in the medical device industry as a risk manager, in-house counsel, and litigation counsel for a major medical device and biologic manufacturer. Prior to private practice, Brian worked in the risk management and legal departments of Sulzer Medica, most recently as its Assistant General Counsel, Product Liability. Brian has managed national and international product liability cases involving implanted medical devices at all stages of the lifecycle from pre-litigation through appeal. Brian has also created risk management programs for companies to minimize exposure to product liability claims and advised companies on regulatory compliance, including responding to investigations by the Consumer Product Safety Commission, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, and similar regulatory bodies in Europe and Asia.
